CodeWeavers, the software company behind Wine, has released CrossOver 14, a software for easy running Windows applications on Linux and Mac OS X. The new version is full of new features and comes in time to the 10th anniversary of Ubuntu, as 10 years ago Mark Shuttleworth announced Ubuntu 4.10 "Warty Warthog", the first version of Ubuntu.
Codeweavers, the company behind CrossOver and Wine, has released CrossOver 12.2 for Linux and Mac. CrossOver is an emulation software which easily allows to install and run a countless number of Windows applications on Linux.
The game pioneer and id Software's co-founder John Carmack has already expressed some concerns regarding the viability of Linux as a gaming platform. Now he has published a comment on Twitter, in which he said that improving Wine is a better way for Gaming on Linux than porting games to the OS.
